HSCSN is always looking for new ways to expand its network of services. The Community Services Advisory Council (CSAC) provides recommendations about member benefits and works to foster, promote and improve relationships and services for youth and young adults with special health care needs, their families and communities, and other stakeholders.
Council members, can, and do make a difference on behalf of children and families with special health care needs. Members include:
HSCSN members and their families or caregivers
Primary, specialty and mental health care network providers
Individuals with expertise in adolescent health, Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment program, HIV/AIDS, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), mental and behavioral health, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric dentistry and substance abuse
Community members representing advocacy groups anad associations
District agencies and other community representatives actively committed to improving the health of children and young adults with special health care needs.
Transportation is provided for HSCSN members. Dinner and child care services are provided.
